Peter “Mack” McCollough grew up in Davis, California. He served in the U.S. Marines and later earned a degree in photojournalism from Ohio University. He worked as a photographer in the Bay Area before transitioning into a career as a Director of Photography. He studied narrative cinematography at AFI and is based in Los Angeles.
