Born in Montana and raised in Northern California, Peter “Mack” McCollough served in the U.S. Marines and later earned a degree in photojournalism from Ohio University. He worked as a photographer in the Bay Area before beginning a career as a Director of Photography. He studied narrative cinematography at AFI and is based in Los Angeles.
